Century Financial Unveils Its Annual Charity Initiative

Century Financial Brokers UAE’s pioneering financial services provider, embraced the spirit of giving this Ramadan on 3rd June 2018, as a part of its annual ‘Health, Wealth and Happiness’ initiative

The senior management of Century Financial Brokers distributed ‘Health, Wealth and Happiness’ kits to over 500 laborers, in association with SmartLife, A NGO registered with the Community Development Authority, Dubai, that works for the betterment of blue collar workers.

The Health, Wealth & Happiness gift kits comprised of:

(a) Health (Health/hygiene related items),

(b) Wealth (Pre-paid vouchers for money transfer charges to send across their money to their families. These can be used in any UAE Exchange outlet,) and

(c) Happiness (prepaid telephone cards to assist them in making international calls and stay in touch with their respective families and friends back home)

The initiative was unveiled during one of biggest Iftar events hosted by Century Financial last week. The Iftar featured the Happiness Tree where the guests were asked to populate it with health, wealth, and happiness leaves to support the charity initiative. For every leaf, Century Financial donated AED 25 to the charity in form of Health, Wealth & Happiness kits.

This Initiative was launched in 2017, during the Year of Giving, and Century Financial Brokers has continued its commitment to the charitable cause by giving back to the community this year as well to mark UAE’s “Year of Zayed 2018”

Speaking on the occasion, Bal Krishen, CEO, Century Financial Brokers, said that this noble initiative is aimed at touching the lives of the less fortunate in the society. He also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continue sharing happiness with the blue collar workers living in labour accommodations.

“We are delighted to be sharing genuine happiness with the less privileged in our society. This year’s annual Health, Wealth, and Happiness (HWH) initiative is in line with the objectives of “The Year of Zayed” and is geared toward giving the workers a befitting and memorable Ramadan experience.” said Krishen.

“Ramadan is associated with the spirit of giving selflessly. The HWH initiative of Century Financial was an apt fit for our Ramadan Distribution project, and the sheer joy seen on the faces of our blue collar friends bore testimony to this”, said Manjula Ramakrishnan, President, SmartLife.
